Mr. Ali Al Jabal

Mr. Ali Al Jabal obtained his bachelor degree from “Saydi Mohammed Bin Abdullah University” (LLB), Fez, Kingdom of Morocco in 1992. Furthermore, obtained his LL.M degree from the School of Law at “Case Western Reserve University” Cleveland-Ohio- U.S.A. (May 2002). Previously, he was associated with the prominent “Essa Ebrahim Law Office” for three years.  Beyond Mr. Ali Al Jabal’s extensive responsibilities at his firm, he was also a part-time Law lecturer at the University of Bahrain, teaching ‘Banking Law’. Moreover, he is a licensed lawyer in the Sultanate of Oman and Dubai international financial center (DIFC) Dubai. Additionally, he is licensed to own his own office in the Sultanate of Oman and is in the process of obtaining licenses for the other GCC countries. Mr. Ali Al Jabal is currently an active professional Member of the Bahrain Bar Society, where he has served as a member of the Board of Directors for two consecutive years. He is both the Regional Secretary of the international Association of Lawyers (UIA) Paris-France and a member of the international Bar Association (IBA) London-UK; International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Paris-France; and Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) Cairo- Egypt.

 

Mr. Ali Al Jabal is the founder of Al Jabal Consultancy W.L.L.. With over 25 years experience in the Bahraini legal field, he has covered many major aspects of Law. Moreover, he has a wealth of knowledge in dealing with the governmental, commercial and other functional aspects of Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Mr. Ali Al Jabal has contributed and been featured in various publications, as one of the few chief Litigators to stand before the Commercial, Civil and Criminal courts in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  These publications include Gulf Insider, Gulf Daily News, Al Watan, Al Waseet and Akhbar Al Khaleej. Mr. Ali Al Jabal has a comprehensive financing background. He focuses primarily on Islamic banking, Contract Law, Trust & Equity, project and Real Estate transactions. Representing such groups as; Banks, Sponsors, Medical Personnel and Contractors. He has counseled clients on numerous high profile transactions on domestic level traders and a cross border level traders. Furthermore, he advises clients in relation to Contractual and Compliance advice for distribution. Most importantly, he has a deep understanding of the procedures of the Bahraini Courts. He is also a practicing Mediator and Arbitrator within Bahrain and has dealt with many major forms of Investment Disputes, both on a national and international scale.
